CLERMONT — Scott and Jennifer Glover have a passion for their cows, their land and their community. That’s why the family decided to open up their barn doors and share their love of dairy farming with the public.
“We decided to open up our farm to do farm tours because we thought it was important for families and especially children to see where milk comes from,” said Glo-Crest dairy co-owner Jennifer Glover.
At their new milking parlor and educational facility, farm visitors can watch cows get milk, learn how milk goes from the parlor to the bottle, watch educational videos about dairy farming and watch the Glovers care for their milk, their cows and their land.
“We are proud to have a facility that our community can come out and enjoy while learning about dairy farming right here in Georgia,” Scott Glover added.
In addition to running Glo-Crest dairy, the Glovers also own and operate Mountain Fresh Creamery, where people are able to purchase award-winning milk and ice cream produced by the Glovers.
